About
I (Randall Kapuscinski) am the Technologist for the Advanced TV & Film Program at Sheridan College in Oakville, Ontario, Canada. The ATVF program is an 8-month post-graduate program that teaches practical filmmaking skills. In the ATVF program, students spend most of their time producing short films.
I am responsible the for technical aspects of the ATVF program. This includes purchasing and maintaining equipment, and ensuring that faculty and students can take advantage of the capabilities of available gear. While not claiming to be an expert in anything, I need to have a broad base of knowledge that covers all aspects of filmmaking technology including cameras, editing systems, visual effect software, and digital cinema.
